After receiving such positive feedback from clients about how much they love seeing what we wear and the tips we give on our social media we decided to condense it all into an informative blog! This way you can “steal our style” to make it your own, get some “where to find” tips, pick up some colour advice and see what is available at our VibrantConcepts Style Studio.
Love to hear your feedback on this new blog and if there are other “tips” you would like us to include.
What Sam Wore
Preppy Style : Dress up your loafers with a maxi skirt and a structured jacket for a preppy casual look. I added in some bling (just because it makes me feel good) with our VC glitter oversized clutch and beaded/twine earrings
Split Sleeve Top : Gave my Diana Ferrari blouse and rose gold point shoes a modern twist with our VC over sized rose gold leaf earrings for a day of styling. Don’t leave your “good” blouses just for after 5 or a special occasion wear them your jeans or as I have with navy cropped pants.
Trendy Jeans : These MYER Piper pearl encrusted high waisted jeans are what I call a wardrobe “fashion injection” piece…we all need items like this each season to keep us modern.
Buttercup & Tassels : Tried a new colour with my neutrals with this Buttercup Valley Girl $14.95 longline cardi. Proof you don’t have to be tall to wear a long garment it just has to be right for your body balance (I am a short torso/long leg). Our new in VC tassel necklace $39.95 was the perfect piece to tie all of my colours together!
Gingham : Gingham styling for a low contrast palette! Loved this “Hamptons” inspired outfit for a change. Yep I have got very creative lately with my flat shoes!
Shirt Dress : One of my favourite trend items this season has to be the shirtdress. So versatile and can be worn as a dress or as a shirtdress/long jacket as I have here. This was a “High Tea” outfit and perfect for when eating and drinking was definitely to be considered.
What Jordi Wore
Navy : Tying shirts is a great way to create a waist and un-even the body. If you don’t like to slow your midriff layer with a coloured singlet underneath!
“Western Inspired” Choker : Update last season’s neutrals with this seasons “western” inspired necklace – available at The VC Style Studio.
Gingham : Giving my gingham piece a touch of “quirky” with lace and VC crochet accessories. Perfect for a Winter Colour Palette!
Glitz & Sequins : Don’t save your sequins and “glitz” for after 5 – dress it down with a touch of denim.
Tie Front Top : If you have a straight torso try the new tie front top! They are a GREAT way to create a waist without wearing a belt!
Red Dress : Invest in a statement “go to” dress! Be sure it suits your colour palette and body shape… To gain the most out of your purchase; be sure you can dress it up and down for various occasions. (Dress from Witchery).
What We Wore : Charity Event Style
Jordi : You don’t need to buy a new outfit every time you get invited to an event! I reworked a corset I have had for years, borrowed Sam’s Diana Ferrari skirt and added a past season Forever New cape. Capes are a great way to accentuate the shoulder and cover the upper arms.
Sam : This pantsuit was my 50th birthday outfit when I had a “Bubbles & Bling” Brunch at my home with nearly 30 girlfriends so to be able to wear it again was fabulous. This time I added rose gold accessories with our VC Rose gold and crystal statement earrings, Olga Berg clutch and shoes from Betts Shoes.
